Project Description
The 22,700 square-foot indoor practice facility is located east of the Bowlin Softball Stadium and north of the Haymarket Park. The new indoor practice facility will include movable and adjustable batting cages, pitching mounds, a turf system suitable for infield practice and a netting system for live hitting. The addition of onsite batting facilities will enhance Nebraska’s opportunities to host regional baseball and softball tournaments in accordance with NCAA guidelines.
Sampson Construction was the primary contractor on the projects with brick and stone materials supplied by Reimers Kaufman, a NEBCO, Inc. company, and the grout and mortar supplied by U-MIX Products.
